Utilizing high-precision tilt angle sensors for tower tilt monitoring and tilt monitoring
As infrastructure improves, a large number of large iron towers have been deployed outdoors. Although outdoor transmission towers have solid foundations, they are prone to tilting due to the long-term impact of crustal movements, weather conditions, and human construction (such as road repair and blasting). When the tilt reaches a certain degree or causes stress changes in the tower, it can cause deformation of the tower, causing wires to dance, break, or even collapse the tower, causing greater safety problems. Therefore, detecting tower tilt has always been a top priority in subsequent maintenance work.
For tower tilt maintenance and early prediction, the main method used is manual inspection. Staff carry equipment to measure each tower. Some equipment is very cumbersome, and due to manual inspection, the prediction of tilt angle cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate and timely. Staff waste a lot of work on the road, inefficient.
In response to the above situation, our company has launched an inclination sensor with an accuracy of 0.001°. It can accurately capture slight angular changes in the tower, with low power consumption supplied by 12V low voltage, making it easier to solve the problem of outdoor power supply.
For outdoor tower inclination detection and angle safety monitoring, a high-precision inclination sensor + GPRS system + solar panel + battery solution can be used to ensure real-time data collection and recording.
Firstly, high-precision inclination sensors collect data from the tower itself, including XYZ three-axis tilt data and angle changes. (Nine-axis sensors can collect more data, which requires more customer requirements)
The second step is to transmit the collected data to the terminal through GPRS for tower inclination monitoring or tower inclination alarm.
Solar panels and batteries mainly provide power for sensors and GPRS.
In the system settings, you can preset the alarm value to send an alarm prompt when the tilt angle reaches a certain level. The transmitted data can also be set according to time, such as transmitting once an hour or every 12 hours. Reduce the cost of using GPRS transmission.
High-precision attitude sensors are mainly used in places where precise angle monitoring is required, such as landslide warning, wind power generation, ocean monitoring, aerial work, etc.
